1. How much is a room for one night/week/4 weeks?

Please see our Rates section for a complete list of our rates.

2. Do the private rooms have a private bathroom as well?

No; there are NO PRIVATE BATHROOMS. All bathrooms are shared. In the main hostel building and one temp housing building annex the bathroom is down the hall. In the other hostel annex the bathroom is shared with a neighbor.

3. Is there Wireless Internet?

Yes. If you have your own laptop WiFi is $1/day, $5/week and $10/month.

4. I don't have a laptop. Is there another internet option?

Yes. We have a communal internet computer that gives 20 minutes of internet for every dollar.

5. Are there laundry facilities?

Yes. We have card-operated laundry machines. We ask for $20 total for the laundry card (a $10 deposit for the card just as with the key deposit, and another $10 for the value of the card itself); after you have finished your laundry we will return whatever you have not used. For example, if you use the card for one load of washing and one load of drying, $18 of your $20 will be returned. For your convenience, we sell laundry detergent packets that wash 2-3 loads for $1.

6. I will be arriving after your closing time. Will this be a problem?

Late check-ins are not a problem; however, it is important that you adhere to the following protocol: 1) Call to make a reservation. Mention that you will be a late arrival in order to receive further instruction. 2) Call on the DAY OF YOUR ARRIVAL to REMIND US that you will be a late arrival and to receive updated late check-in information. PLEASE NOTE: Summer hours are 7:30am to Midnight. Regular hours (8am to 11pm) will resume in September.

7. How many bunk beds are in a dorm room?

The women's dorms have four to six beds and the men's dorms have eight beds.

8. Are there televisions in the private rooms?

No. There is a television set in the lobby of the hostel and in the temp housing annexes.

9. Is there a community room?

The community room is the main-floor lobby. It contains a TV, couches, tables and chairs, an internet computer, and a courtesy phone. The Front Desk clerk is present from 7:30am to Midnight during the summer, and 8am to 11pm during the off-season. The front porch in our main building is also a communal area where many guests enjoy socializing.

10. What should I bring if I'm staying in a PRIVATE room?

For the bathroom: -shampoo -soap -shaving necessities -shower shoes (cheap flip flops) In the private room sheets and towels are NOT necessary; we provide these for you at no additional charge.

11. Is there a communal kitchen?

Yes.

12. What should I bring if I'm staying in a DORM bed?

Same things you would bring for a private room (see above question), PLUS bed linens. Here at the hostel you can bring your own sheets/sleeping bag and towels. If you would prefer not to bring bedding, you can rent a set of linens (two sheets, pillowcase/pillow, towel, blanket) from us for $7.

13. What's the cheapest way to get there from the Denver Airport?

The cheapest way to get to the Boulder Hostel is to take the AB/Skyride bus (provided by RTD) directly from the airport. The cost is $12 each way; be sure to bring exact change in cash with you.Your stop will be the Euclid/16th and Broadway stop, which is second to last. Once you get off the bus, cross the street and continue waking in the direction that the bus was going. Take a left onto College Avenue and continue up two short blocks until you reach 12th Street and College Avenue. Our physical address is 1107 12th St.

14. Which credit cards to you take?

All major credit cards except for Discover.

15. I tried calling and no one answered. What's going on?

You probably called while our front desk was closed. During the summer we are open from 7:30am to Midnight, Mountain Standard Time, and during the off-season we are open from 8am to 11pm. If you are unable to call during our business ours, please send us an email.
